Part Time Business Development/Sales Associate

Salary Range

To start, monthly stipend + potential for 5-6 figure commissions; potential to turn into full time salary + commissions.

Job Description

VoiceVoice, a 500 Startups company, is seeking a mission-driven, inside sales person who wants to make a difference in the world while also making (potentially a lot of) money.

The person in this role will be pitching our new platform for fundraising, mobilization and engagement 1-1 to warm leads in the progressive advocacy space and occasionally explore business development partnerships. Little to no cold calling in this position.

To start, we are looking to hire someone on a part-time + commission basis. If you have experience as an SDR or BDR and want a part-time job, the starting pay range is $1,500-$3,500 per month (depending on experience and overall agreement) to start plus great % commission. You'll work on larger-dollar deals, so this position could pay really well for the right candidate and be a great opportunity. It has the potential to become full-time competitive salary + commission.

Our target customers are progressive advocacy organizations with a large, national/global following and sizable budget, whose organizational goals include mobilization, activation, engagement, fundraising and getting their supporters to take action. It's essential you be able to speak in terms of their business drivers and pain points, have a grasp of the current political climate and the challenges these organizations face, and follow national news and world events.

Our Ideal Candidate is:

  • Based in Bay Area (but we’d consider a strong remote candidate).
  • Excellent written and spoken English required.
  • Exceptionally honest and authentic.
  • Must desire a challenge to deliver results.
  • Determined to make a difference in and have a positive impact on the community, country, world.
  • Should have at least some basic sales experience (or be able to sell us on why you can learn to sell). Bonus points for experience selling SaaS solutions.
  • Strong on the phone and experienced in smart, timely, effective follow-up.
  • Able to multi-task, prioritize and effectively manage time.
